About Tendency to Wander

In June of 2017 we left Boston, MA and set out on a yearlong road trip with our two cats – Duncan and Kodachrome – and our VW camper van. Our goal: to amplify voices in small towns and big cities, to discover what makes each place tick, and to appreciate the diverse beauty of our country. From mountain towns to Big Sky, we're out to document it all – and we want to share this adventure with you. Subscribe for more stories, monthly print packages, postcards, and more with our Patreon.

The Camper Cats

Duncan was born during a hurricane in Tampa, FL. Kodachrome hails from the cold streets of Lowell, MA.

Both Duncan and Kodachrome enjoy the finer things in life, like roadtrips, shoelaces, and long naps in the sun.

Saul Goodvan

Saul is a Westy VW with a poptop. He was born in Germany, shipped to Rhode Island, and adopted by Justin and Jordyn in 2017.

Saul proudly displays a large sticker collection from Tendency to Wander's travels on his interior roof.
